Hello there, my name is Keith Metcalfe, and I am a native of Marin County, CA. I made my first personal web page in 1997, and this google site is basically a continuation of it, now that my internet provider stopped having free personal web sites.

Check out more detailed personal information about me from the index. The index will lead you to almost every page available here. The pages that will be updated most frequently is the Movie Review page, now that Epinions is down so my reviews don't appear there, and I dropped the Anti-smoking page since there are so many better ones out there.

Although I have had many jobs in my lifetime, almost all of them have revolved around Computers. I've worked at several of the large dot coms everyone has heard of, and for the last several years somehow became a database designer / data analyst. I've worked for several years on Linux servers, Apple systems, but mostly windows. I've been building my own PCs and repairing them since 1993. I'm also rather good at Photoshop and general scripting with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. I also worked for many years at various Quality Assurance positions, often taking that role when hired to do other things because of my eye for detail, and abilities to find flaws in any design.

I've been repairing Computers in homes and offices for decades, and lately have been doing a lot of Database Design. You can see my full C.V. / Resume here.

I am most certainly a movie-phile, and still have two partially working Laserdisc Players, DVD Players, and hundreds of films. For a few years starting in 1997, I regularly reviewed movies online. In 2007, I started recording reviews on youtube, but that only lasted until I got a job that took up too much of my time. It was never professional, but I did earn a few dollars posting reviews on Epinions. Check out my index for a list of movies I've reviewed, and a star rating of every movie I see.

You can click to find my blog and youtube channel where I review numerous movies, comic books, computer games, books, and other various things. I used to have nearly a hundred reviews on Epinions, but that site has gone down.

Martial arts have always been a large part of my life, and I have trained in various styles over the various years. Currently I'm focusing my training on Wing Chun / Wing Tsun, and have received the rank of instructor, even though I only really teach in other instructor's classrooms. I used to also teach fencing. (Foil, Sabre, and Epee) I'm also working on a page featuring various fencing strategies. I previously have trained in Hung Gar Kung Fu and Aikido.

Although not so much lately, I used to play a lot of computer games, and you can see a list of reviews, links, and tips on games I've played by clicking on my index.

I am a fan of the Simpsons and had one of the earliest fan pages devoted to them. I actually had every episode taped, when that was an amazing thing to have, until around 2004 when the availability of the DVDs made that no longer worth the effort.

I am a fervent anti-smoker, and as a matter of fact. This page is off-limits to smokers! I used to run an anti-smoking page that can be found from the index.

I got my first TIVO in 2005, before the new golden age of tv started, but before the streaming craze took over. Boy did that change my TV viewing habits.

There used to be a rival Keithco Page in Amsterdam I found in 1997, which was really cool as it was the first other one with the same name.

In 2002 another Keithco page popped up in Montreal. This guy sounded pretty cool in that he repaired computers, but the site went down sometime in 2002.

This is another Keithco page from Oregon, selling model train control boxes or something. They used to have the domain name Keithco, but have apparently lost it to the next Keithco on this list!

And this Keithco Page, was owned by The Keith Companies, before they got bought, and the jerks even have the www.keithco.com name! I Should have reserved it years ago when I was ahead of the pack when it came to understanding the internet!
